Ticks/ Fleas/ Lice Prevention

This protect your pets from common ectoparasite infestation contractable due to close proximity to other pets during the staycation.

Health Check and Medication

This should be done by a Veterinarian to establish and identify any special requirements specific to your pets, e.g. arthritis medication for senior pets, and ensure that the boarding facility of your choice can cater to them, e.g. feeding multiple types of medication two to three times a day.

THE FOOTWORK

SNOOBING

  • Ask for recommendation and do plenty of research about the place you wish to book for your pets' staycation.

PILLS AND SUCH

  • Visit the premise and look at the boarded animals and the environment. Even consider booking an overnighter for your pet to assess the suitability and for your pet to become familiar with the venue .

  • There should always be a segregation between your pet(s) and other pets to avoid passing of contagious diseases.

  • Talk to the people who owns the premise/ who works there.

  • Find out if the staff can feed medication, drive your pet to the vet and know basic first aid.

  • Find out if they provide individual CCTV for monitoring your pet.

  • Find out what form of daily activities are provided, e.g. outdoor walks.

  • Make reservation with your chosen pet sitter/ pet boarding facilities early.
